i have bad credit and i got approved for the loan since I was a full time student… talk to your financial aid office to see what options you have, they will help you… if by then you don’t get approve ask your parents…
If you apply via the FAFSA (http://www.fafsa.ed.gov), it doesn’t matter what your credit is like. It is based on need, not credit. Unless you are in default on a previous student loan, they will give you the maximum amount you are determined to need.

ask them to co-sign otherwise they will have to begin repayment almost immediately.
