I’m looking for a real lender of cash to buy a car from a private seller, not a dealer. I’m prepared to face high interest, large amount down, etc. – but all the websites I’ve tried are just new car dealer referral services disguised as “helpful” loan finders.

Have a credit score of around 620-640. Past wage garnishment (a year ago) but paid off early. Past car repossession (reason for the garnishment.) Other small things charged-off. Only looking for a mortgage loan of $25K or less with $10K for down payment. With todays economy, is there any chance of finding a mortgage company? What kind of rates would I be looking at?

I have bad credit issues due to past mistakes and now that my finances are in good standing, I still have the mistakes in my credit history.
Can I get a $25,000 auto loan by myself? I have a great job and can afford the payments? Also I have a co-signer? Would I be able to get the loan with the co-signer?

Hello,
I have bad credit at the moment, just got married and I’m trying to consider buying a house. I heard that if I put down 20% most banks will give me a loan? Just not sure how true is this? My wife has decent credit and we have the 20% to put down but we don’t want to get our hopes up. Any good mortgage company to work with people with bad credit in Florida?
